Welcome to my new website! It is an honor to serve you as Ventura County Supervisor for the Second District.
I am dedicated to upholding the exceptional quality of life within Ventura County while striving to enhance the efficiency, accountability, and transparency of the county government. My primary objectives include fostering secure neighborhoods, attracting new employment opportunities for the middle class, tackling the significant issue of homelessness, and safeguarding our natural landscapes and ecosystems.

If you’re a veteran, or supporting one, services available include:

They will not necessarily chase youth who attempt to evade - which could create significant safety issues for everyone - but they will conduct the time-consuming follow-up investigation to identify the individuals and cite or arrest them at a later date, like was done here. Last night at the Oak Park MAC meeting, we had the opportunity to recognize Eugene Molnar for more than 38 years of dedicated service to the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District.
From his early days as a Grounds Keeper to his current role as Senior Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, Eugene has played a key role in caring for the parks in Oak Park—helping maintain our open spaces and Medea Creek Natural Park.
Beyond his work, Eugene has been a familiar and trusted presence in the community, always willing to lend a hand and support residents.

Yesterday, our Board was proud to present a proclamation recognizing the Week of the Young Child. Childhood is a time of curiosity, growth, and possibility—and every child deserves the opportunity to learn, explore, and thrive. Encouraging progress in Ventura County. The 2026 Point-in-Time Count shows a 28% reduction in homelessness since 2023—a meaningful step forward driven by investments in housing, prevention, and coordinated community efforts.
Behind every number in this report is a person—someone whose life is changing for the better. This progress reflects a strong, community-wide commitment to expanding housing, strengthening prevention, and meeting people where they are. We’re grateful to the
many partners making this work possible.

Improving safety along the Pacific Coast Highway has been a top priority, especially near Neptune’s Net and County Line Beach—one of the most visited and iconic stretches of our coastline.
I’m proud to share that this project is moving forward, bringing marked crosswalks and pedestrian hybrid beacons to help people cross safely. This is about protecting residents, beachgoers, and visitors—and making sure everyone can enjoy our coast safely.

Great to see strong community engagement in Lynn Ranch at a recent meeting focused on emergency preparedness. These conversations are so important to keeping our neighborhoods safe and resilient. Today my team had the opportunity to visit the Oakbrook Chumash Indian Museum, and we were truly inspired by the care, knowledge, and dedication of the team preserving and sharing Chumash history. It’s a special place in our community. The museum has recently shifted to private tours and events due to a need for additional support, and they would greatly benefit from the community’s engagement. Heat Advisory for Ventura County: The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services, Public Health Office, and the National Weather Service are monitoring a prolonged heat event through Friday, March 20.
🌡️ Temperatures are expected to be up to 25° above normal, with inland areas reaching the 90s and even 100s.
⚠️ Extreme Heat Warnings are in place Tuesday through Friday.
Stay safe and Beat the Heat:
