Ashley Bautista
Chief of Staff
Ashley is the Chief of Staff for Supervisor Jeff Gorell, serving the constituents of District 2. She enjoys problem solving and helping to make life better for local community members.
Ashley brings extensive experience in government management and communication at the City and County levels as both the communications manager and public information officer for local agencies.
Ashley has received numerous accolades, including the Hometown Hero Award, 40 Under Forty Award, International Association of Chiefs of Police 40 Under 40 Award, and the California Peace Officers’ Association 12 Under 12 Award. She has also been recognized as one of the “Top 50 Women in Business” “Who’s Who in Nonprofit Leadership” and she has been featured as a “Woman of Substance” by Ventana magazine.
Ashley enjoys spending time with her family including her husband David, four teenage sons Luke, Mateo, Diego and Tomas and Australian shepherd Emmy. She is also a member of CLEAN International, a global nonprofit helping to provide clean water to people in need.

Israel Rodriguez
Field Representative
Israel’s professional background includes banking, art industry and manufacturing. In banking he started as a Branch Manager and worked to become Vice President, Regional Manager for Home Savings of America, where he ran the largest network or retail branches in California. He left banking with an opportunity to partner with Media Arts Group, the parent company for artist Thomas Kinkade. Together his company Strategic Solutions and Media Arts Group developed over 300 art galleries, the nation’s largest network of galleries. During this time, he expanded his company scope to manufacture art and home décor goods in China and Korea. This led to his role as President of the Small Manufacturing Association of California where he worked to advance manufacturing and workforce development in aerospace, bioscience, and medical industries. He has three kids, five grandkids, is an amateur artist and is currently writing a book.

Dale Thomas
Field Representative
Dale Thomas has been a member of our Oak Park community for many years. She served as a Director of the Hogan Family Foundation for 6 years and was instrumental in the development of the Gardens of the World. Following her time as VP of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, she retired to spend her time in the political arena. She has worked on many political campaigns and was helpful in Jeff Gorell’s election campaign in 2022.

Andrew Fox
Field Representative
Andrew Fox was brought onto our staff after exceeding expectations during a summer internship. He enjoys playing music, spending time with his nieces and nephew, and is currently double majoring in Political Science & History at California State University Channel Islands. Andrew plans on attending law school upon completing his undergraduate studies and currently serves as Student Body President at Cal State Channel Islands.
